Beyond real estate, Dale has been involved in the hospitality industry since 1992, working closely with pubs and clubs to provide racing and football information through his business, Shearer Sports. This daily involvement has allowed Dale to build a solid network within the industry and gives him an intimate understanding of hospitality management, making him a valuable asset to clients in this area.  He also owns Red Emu Wines Pty Ltd, leveraging his liquor license and passion for wine to expand his interests in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Dale’s illustrious sports career from 1985 to 1998 includes representing Queensland in State of Origin, playing for Australia, and earning numerous awards. Among his many accolades, he was named to the Indigenous Team of the Century and received the Australian Indigenous Sportsman Award. Dale's community contributions extend beyond sports; he has supported various charities and started Shearer Tackles Cancer to raise awareness and funds for cancer research in memory of his late wife.
